J. Gregory Carlock, Esq.


Greg Carlock has a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1973, and he was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1974. He also is admitted to practice law before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States Supreme Court. Greg is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Prior to joining Speyer & Perlberg, LLP in 1981, Greg served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Kings County District Attorney's Office in Brooklyn. As Deputy Chief of the Economic Crimes and Arson Bureau, Greg was directly involved in one of the first New York City programs to address arson as an economic crime. His duties also included the investigation of traditional white-collar crime and fraud.

Greg's practice concentrates on insurance coverage and insurance policy defense.
