John M. Speyer, Esq. Mr. Speyer currently serves as Senior Counsel to our firm. He is actively involved in firm affairs and participates directly in the handling of specific matters. We continue to benefit from Mr. Speyer's vast experience in the insurance field. Mr. Speyer has a bachelor of Science degree from New York University. United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States District Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Following military service Mr. Speyer attended the University of Amsterdam, law faculty, on a Fulbright grant. |

Mr. Speyer is a member of the Maritime Law Association, The New York County Lawyers Association, the New York Law Institute and the Defense Research and Trial Lawyers Association. He is an honorary member and founder of the Certified Claims Professional Accreditation Counsel and an associate member of the Loss Executives Association. Mr. Speyer also serves as a Special Master and Mediator for the New York State Supreme Court, New York County, and as a mediator for the United States District Court, Southern District of New York. Mr. Speyer has authored various insurance industry articles including The "sue and Labor" Clause (Insurance Adjuster) and The Case of the Fire, the Fire Hoses and the Collapsing Floor (Insurance Adjuster). Mr. Speyer also appears regularly before insurance associations.
